art through words

Welcome to this journey. This book came to me like words in the wind from my ancestors. You will be able to feel the fluidity of spirit and free thought as you work through this journal. Some of the concepts may be a bit foreign according to your culture, but through translation it will be easily understood that these are principles all life is predicated upon. There are four chapters or phases of this working journal. They come from the language of the Kongo people. I want to give you a brief understanding of their meanings so you can grasp how they curate the stage of each chapter. The exploration starts with the chapter Musoni. Musoni is a word that encompasses the ideals we have around subjects such as spring, rebirth, and planting seeds. Chapter two is titled Kala. Kala is a word that encompasses the ideals we have around summer, moving into fullness, joy, and growth/birthing into achievements. Chapter three is titled Tukula. Tukula is a word that encompasses the ideals we have around fall, change, and mulling over wisdom gathered in the prime of life. Chapter four is titled Luvemba. Luvemba is a word that encompasses the ideals we have around winter, release, and death in some capacity.
